Civil War Remembered

Saturday, September 27 from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, September 28 from 10 am to 3 pm

Join us as we step beyond the history books and the battlefield and onto the homefront to connect with the people, stories, and ideas that link Manitowoc County, Wisconsin to America’s greatest conflict – the Civil War.

Pinecrest Village is transformed into a Civil War encampment where guests can meet famous figures of the past and experience firsthand a turbulent time period in our nation’s history. Join reenactors as they stage a battle complete with raging cannons and marching infantry. Learn how the nation changed through the insights of local people who made a difference in history.
